Waffle Industries Basement Waterproofing

OUR SERVICES

We provide on site inspections to determine the best solution for your need, at no cost to you. Should you choose Waffle Industries to perform the repairs, we will provide you with a written warranty on all interior drainage systems and crack injection work, which is in force as long as you own the building.  If you sell your house, the warranty can be transferred to another owner.

Our goal is to provide you with information regarding the different solutions available to address your problem. This can include any one, or a combination of the following:

Interior Drainage Systems

For leaking or dampness caused by hydrostatic pressure in all types of foundations. This system is installed below the floor and is designed to relieve hydrostatic pressure; stopping leaks before they occur.

Polyurethane and Epoxy Crack Injection

For water coming in through cracks, tie holes, cold joints, or other similar defects in poured concrete foundations.

Sump Pump Installation

To address a specific leaking area, or to be installed with the Interior Drainage System. Backup systems are also available to maintain a dry basement should you experience a power failure, or primary pump failure.

Video Camera Inspections

Video camera inspection and high pressure jetter cleaning of perimeter or footing drains. (Sometimes called weeping tiles)

Exposed Rock in Basement

In Muskoka this is not uncommon and often the rock, whether exposed or covered with concrete, will bring water into the living space. With a combination of waterproof membrane and interior drainage system, this problem can be solved permanently.

Replacing Exterior Footing Drains

Excavate and replace the existing footing drains, and install waterproofing membrane on the exposed foundation walls.

Exterior Window Well Installation

If basement windows are near or below grade window wells with drainage to the footing drains can be installed to prevent water entering the home.

Exterior Grading, Downspouts etc.

Leaking problems can often be solved by redirecting surface water away from the foundation.
